Let me start with this… I am addicted to this lists. 25 random things.. HA! I need more. So here goes… what follows are 25 things I want to do before I die. Some are mundane, others not so much.

  1. Get married
  2. Own a house
  3. Climb Everest
  4. Drive over 200 MPH
  5. Drink a beer at Oktoberfest in Germany
  6. Drink Guinness in Ireland
  7. Build a motorcycle from the ground up
  8. Live in another country for longer than 6 months
  9. Take a cruise
  10. Design a house and then live in it
  11. Attend an awards show as a nominee
  12. See a view that makes me cry
  13. Play guitar on a stage
  14. Be able to read sheet music well
  15. Mix a concert in a major venue
  16. See Yosemite
  17. Visit Venice in the Spring
  18. Step foot on every continent on the planet (would be ok though if I didn’t get on Antarctica
  19. Work for a major video game house (think Blizzard)
  20. Have a viewing room on par with those found in private Hollywood homes
  21. Work at Skywalker Ranch
  22. Live in NYC
  23. Salmon Fishing in Alaska
  24. Get a full sleeve tattoo on my right arm
  25. Be a stay at home dad

25 Things That Scare Me

This is a variation on the 25 random things you always see on Facebook. I thought it would be cool to do a completely random thing and come up with a new 25 things… post.   These are in no particular order, just how I thought of them.

  1. The dark
  2. Snakes
  3. Heights
  4. Drowning
  5. Deep water
  6. Being alone for another holiday season
  7. Rejection
  8. Being stuck in a life I don’t want
  9. Hell
  10. Dieing and not having anyone at my funeral
  11. Being eaten alive
  12. Finding out everything I know is a lie
  13. Planning a party and no one showing up (this actually happened once)
  14. Having my birthday forgotten (also happened once)
  15. Running out of gas in the middle of no where
  16. Finding myself homeless
  17. Losing someone’s respect
  18. Making a bad first impression
  19. Failing at life
  20. Living the movie Open Water (but I’m still a certified open water diver)
  21. Flying
  22. Dieing of a Heart Attack before I’m 30
  23. Not getting to see all that I want to see of this world
  24. Still living at home when I’m 30
  25. Losing my job

There are 25 honest things that scare me or cause me to pause in my day, and lead me towards certain decisions and away from others.

Valentines Day…

As you all know its Valentines Day… a day supposedly created by the card, candy, and flower companies.  I do believe that the Valentines Day has lasted this long because of the great commercial success of these companies and their ad campaigns. But I for one love this day.

My hat goes off to all those that have someone to spend it with… hold them tight, cherish them.
